This charming 100-seat theater space is in the sub-street-level
space of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament.  The theater and
church are on the south (downtown) side of W. 71st Street, and
the Arclight's entrance is just to the right of the church steps.

Ticket prices are $10 all adults, $5 for seniors and children 12 and under.
Friends of the Silent Clowns, our members, receive discounted
or free admission to our shows, depending on membership level.

The space, originally a chapel built in 1917 so mass could be held
while the church above was being built, was converted into a
theater 10 years ago.  The raked seating was built over the
original altar's marble steps, and color scheme was devised to
match the chapel's original decor, which is still visible.

Please note that our December 6th Laurel & Hardy program will be held at
the Museum of the City of New York, located at E. 103rd Street & 5th Ave.

Our partnership with the New York-Historical Society ended (amiably)
this past spring.  We have worked hard to keep the series in Manhattan's
Upper West Side, having presented in this neighborhood over the last
12 years in partnerships with: the N-YHS (2004-2009), Makor (2004), the
West Side YMCA's "Little Theater" (2002-2003), the N-YHS (2000-2002),
and the 78th Street Theater Lab (1997-1999).

The Silent Clowns Film Series is a production of
